Theme Verse

You will bring them in and plant them
on your own mountain,
the place, O LORD,
which you have made for your abode,
the sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established.
(Exodus 15:17 ESV)

This is the theme verse for this year’s Leadership Training For Christ Convention.

Read the verse and ask yourself, “What did Moses and the Israelites think the verse was talking about?

”Now read it again and ask, “What do I think it is talking about?”

They were promised a land in this world which would be a foretaste of the place where God will bring the faithful to live. Our home in heaven with him.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4 ESV)

Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24 NAU)

The Old Testament truly does prepare us for the New Covenant in Jesus.
