ACTIVE IN FAITH AND FELLOWSHIP

Livewires

“Livewires” is the name of a group of our members who are typically over the age of 65. Some of them may be retired, others may not.

They are a core part of our congregation, devoted to serving the church and community in any way that they can. They organize and lead congregational game nights, Bible studies, and service projects. They are active leaders and participants in our worship assemblies. The Livewires are involved in our mission efforts such as World Bible School.

In addition to being active in the life and work of Riverchase, the Livewires are often found on outings that can include anything from a picnic at a local park to multi-night trips out of state. They’ve enjoyed days on the lake, service projects at the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, and extended trips to Branson.

“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
