Pirates of the Dark Sea: The Quest for Change
Ahoy, mateys! Set sail with us for Pirates of the Dark Sea: The Quest for Change — four nights filled with fun, adventure, and discovery!
Each night, kids will enjoy Bible lessons, music, games, dinner, and themed activities. They’ll collect pieces of a pirate costume, memorize Scripture for treasure, and be part of an unforgettable voyage. All the details you need are just below—don’t miss the boat!

Here’s what to expect during our week of adventure on the Pirates of the Dark Sea: The Quest for Change voyage. Dinners will be provided each night at no cost. Check out the schedule below to plan your family’s VBS journey!

POR LOS NINOS
Service Project
We will be collecting money for Por Los Ninos each night. There will be a competition between the boys and girls to see who can raise the most money. Start collecting your coins and dollars and place them in the assigned pirate ship banks in the lobby each night before VBS begins.
EARN PIRATE TREASURE
Memory Cove
Each night, children will be encouraged to memorize a Bible verse. Once they’ve learned their verse, they can visit one of our silly pirates in the gym foyer to recite it and choose a treasure from the chest. Kids can earn up to four treasures throughout the week—one for each verse they memorize.

Pirate Costume
Each night, kids will receive a part of a pirate costume. On the last night, we encourage all of the kids to come dressed as a pirate.

We’re located off of Hwy 31 in Hoover. Visitors parking is available in the immediate spaces to the left and right after entering the parking lot. Handicap and special needs parking is available at the West entrance on the far side of the building from the entrance to the parking lot.
