The ladies in the office have started a “dress code” for Fridays at the office. They select one of the many T-shirts made for our youth groups, and we have to wear the one they select.
Last Friday, their choice was the long sleeve gray one with the fingerprint on the front.
I didn’t have that particular shirt, so I selected a long sleeve gray one with a huge “A” on the front and “crimson tide” printed on the sleeve. I told the office the “A” was Big Al’s fingerprint.
Some of them didn’t appreciate my humor.
You can tell the team someone supports by what they wear. You can walk by a television and tell what teams are playing by seeing the uniforms they are wearing.
Ever wonder why we are told to “put on Christ”?
Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. (Rom. 13:14 NAU)
Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him– (Col. 3:10 NAU)
Do we wear Jesus as a garment? Can others see His image and likeness in us and the things we do? Can they know we belong to Him?
