What to Expect
WELCOME TO RIVERCHASE
We’re so glad you’re here
Whether you’re attending for the first time or have been part of our community for years, we want you to feel at home.
Our church is a community of believers who come together to worship God, grow in faith, and encourage one another. When you join us, you can expect a warm welcome, meaningful worship, and a commitment to following the teachings of Jesus.
Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our services and what to expect when you visit. We look forward to meeting you and walking together on this journey of faith.
WORSHIP WITH US
Sunday Morning
We meet every Sunday morning to come together in worship and fellowship. Our services are held in the auditorium at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM, offering two opportunities for you to join us.
We strive to follow Christ’s teachings and worship as God intended. Our doors are always open, and we warmly invite everyone to join us in worship. Here’s what you can expect during our service:
-
We begin our worship by coming together in the auditorium for a time of devotion and prayer.
-
We believe in the power and guidance of God’s Word. During our worship, we read from the Bible to edify and encourage one another (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
-
Our a cappella singing is a joyful expression of our faith. Everyone is invited to join in, regardless of musical ability. It’s about the heart, not the skill (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
-
We approach God in prayer, bringing our praises, thanks, confessions, and requests to Him. It’s a humbling experience to seek God’s wisdom and care in our lives (Ephesians 5:20; Romans 12:12).
-
There’s a moment in our service to reflect on God’s blessings and, for those who wish, to give monetarily. Guests are not expected to participate, but are welcome to do so (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).
-
We hear a message from God’s Word that aims to encourage, challenge, and strengthen our faith. You’ll also have an opportunity to respond to the message during the invitation song (2 Timothy 4:2).
-
Each Sunday, we remember Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection through the Lord’s Supper, as He commanded (Matthew 26:24-30).

Wednesday Night Bible Class
Every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM has been set aside for a mid-week devotional and Bible study for the whole church and visitors. You can join us in the auditorium for a devotional and prayer or we offer Bible classes for all ages.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:23-25
