Greeters Needed

Can you remember visiting a new congregation for the first time? How long did it take you to form an opinion about that congregation? How long did it take you to determine if you would be back? We want to be a welcoming church, a congregation that communicates to everyone that they have a place among us, that they are valued, and that they are cared for. This doesn’t begin when someone steps into the pulpit, but rather when someone steps toward the door of the building.Greeters  play a simple, yet essential role in our mission to love God, love others, and make disciples. However, our list of those who are willing to serve in this capacity is short. If you are willing to help in this way, you can sign up on the bulletin board across form the gift closest or let myself or someone in the office know.
