Sometimes we just need to be reminded.
You are made in the very image of God. (Genesis 1:27)
We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans3:23)
God loved us so much, he allowed Jesus to die for us. Yes, Jesus loved you and died for you. (John 3:16 & Galatians 2:20)
We are not far from God. It is in him that we live and move and have our very being.
(Acts 17:27-28)
Jesus’ death has paid the price for all of our sins. By his death God can and will forgive us of all of our sins and count us holy and righteous in His sight. The one requirement is that we believe in Jesus.
This truly believing in Jesus will change our lives. He will become the aim and purpose of our life. We will go through the process of dying to ourselves and living for him. He will be our Lord and we will strive to be his servants.
In Christ, we are God’s family. We are his adopted children. We inherit along with Jesus.
We will live with God and Jesus eternally in heaven where there will be no death, no sin, no sorrow, but true and fulfilling life as God intended it to be.
Sometimes we just need to remember.
