Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
The summer is a time when you hear that many congregations and many people travel hundreds of miles to teach the Gospel and to do mission work. Why spend all that money? Money that they could very well use to make home improvements, or buy things they need at home. Sometimes these travelers use more money in these trips than they use on themselves all year! But Why? Why go?
The answer is simple, the Lord said go! We need to make every effort to go! Go all over the world and preach the message of good news. God sent his Son to die for the sins of all mankind. We are the proclaimers of that message. As good servants we need to make sure that the message rings world wide that Jesus is the savior of this world!
