1 Peter 2:17 Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. (NASB)

This coming Saturday we will have our second Men’s Day here at Riverchase. One of the purposes of this ministry is to make men answer the call to do more than what we have been doing. We want to be the type of men who are not satisfied with just sitting on a pew on Sunday morning. We want to worship God  with all of our heart mind, strength and soul. We want to be the type of men who are not happy with just being a body at home. We want to be better fathers and better husbands. We want to be the kind of men who are not happy with just being a member who expects everyone to serve us. We want to be the type of men who want to serve all people and God. We want to serve God with every fiber of our beings!

This Saturday we get an opportunity to hear great lessons and encourage our brothers to go above and beyond our calling.  We also will have the opportunity to answer the call and be the men who God called us to be. May the Lord help us develop greatness in each one of us
