Micah 6:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
We struggle with this question on many occasions. What does God want me to do? We know what God wants of us. We know what God wants us to do. Here are some things to consider as we plan our day and week.
God may want you to DO SOMETHING. Do something for someone, for your family, for someone who has a need, or that will show the character of Jesus.
God may want you to STOP DOING something. This may be a personal struggle that we need to get rid of, stop doing it.
God may want you to GIVE SOMETHING. Give your time, money, effort to your family and the Lord’s work.
God may want you to SAY SOMETHING. Talk to that person about Jesus. Tell someone close to you that you love them.
God may want you to STOP SAYING SOMETHING. If we struggle with saying too much, maybe it is time to just not say it.
