This past Sunday we talked about the “Main Point” of our life in Jesus. As Paul declares to the Colossians, it is to become like Christ. To be specific, “Christ in us, the hope of glory.”
After I had prepared the sermon, this “Word of the Day” came to me from Merriam-Webster.
It fits perfectly with God’s stated purpose for our life.
Our “divine call” for the “course of action” for our life in this world is to “become like Christ.”
That is our vocation. This is the work given to us to strive toward.
This is who we are. This is what we are to be about.
