“My life seems to be filled with wasted days and years.”
Every heard that? Ever thought that?
I would think it is a regular thought with most, if not all, of us.
God had Isaiah to write about it.
2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
3 Incline your ear, and come to me;
hear, that your soul may live;
and I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
my steadfast, sure love for David. (Isiah 55:1-2)
Jesus is to be our food. We are to “eat” him and “drink” him. He is the only food that truly and
completely satisfies.
