There is joy for those who promote peace. Proverbs 12:20
Make it a habit to do nice things for people who will never find out.
Whistle.
Take a brisk thirty-minute walk every day.
Smile a lot. It costs nothing and is beyond price.
Who comes to mind when you consider the statements above? Do you think others would connect your name on that list of joy-filled people?
Opportunities surround us daily to encourage or discourage. Be an encourager. Our elders, deacons, ministers, ladies’ committee have been spending extra time and effort planning, budgeting, and coordinating events for 2019. What is the goal? To share the love of Jesus with our neighbor. To become the love of Jesus for our neighbor. To live the love of Jesus as a representation of our Father and to be sent out into the world to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength…and to Love our Neighbor as our self.
Let’s take today and make the next right decision to share, become, and represent the love of Jesus. Love Everybody…Always. Our Father in Heaven has blessed each one of us with gifts and talents for “such a time as this.” On our brisk thirty-minute daily walk, talk to Him with eyes wide open so we can see the doors he is opening around us. It may be our next door neighbor, our classmate, our coworker, our nurse, doctor, our cashier, waiter or waitress, and/or even our family member…possibly even ourselves.
Be Different. Pray big, bold prayers.
I will say it again… “Love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength…and Love our Neighbor as our self.
Share. Become. Represent.
