Romans 10: 13-15, For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”14 But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? 15 And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
I used to think that people who did mission work were very rich people. I saw them fly on a plane, have nice clothes and very nice accessories. I could only dream of doing what they did. Many of my ideas about mission work have changed. Mainly the idea of having to be rich to do mission work. Every Christian needs to make the effort to preach the Gospel. But when we can we need to make the effort to do it in other parts of the world. Jesus knew that not everyone would be receptive of the message, so when people don’t want to hear, go somewhere else where people want to hear it. When you are ready to preach the Gospel, God will open the doors for you to do so.
