One More Thing About Baja
Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
If you were at services last Sunday night, you heard Ray Betz give an excellent presentation on our work with the Guadalupe Valley Church in Baja, Mexico. So much good was done, we were all mutually edified. One thing you didn’t hear is the amount of work it takes to bring to completion a work like this.
Ray and Michele Betz spent months organizing this successful mission trip. Countless hours on the phone, making arrangements for hotels, airfare, arranging transportation in Baja. Also coordinating with the locals to make sure we have the things needed so we are not held back when we arrive. Ensuring everyone had a visa, passport, and also packing list, because the weather is crazy there. Once in Baja, preparations had to be made for food for the group, also, plenty of water and essential medications in case someone got sick. This is not even the complete list of all it took. Ray and Michele Betz dedicated months on this ministry. If you see them, please let them know we appreciate them, love them and we look forward to next time where God will be glorified.
