Ephesians 5:15-17 So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise, making the best use of your time because the times are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is (NASB)
How long would you be willing to wait for your food? When you are at a restaurant, and it takes a long time to get seated, then it takes a long time for the waiter to take your order, and then, it takes a long time for your food to arrive. How long is too long?
Everyday we seemed to be pressed for time, we hurry from one place to another. We try to do things fast so we can get out of here! On the road, we get frustrated, some people get exasperated when a car is driving below the speed limit. Why are we in a hurry? Is it so we can rest? Is it so we can get to the next task? Is it so we can make time for things we like?
Use your time to gain wisdom, use your time to serve others, use your time to minister to your family. God has given us all the same amount of time every day. What we do with it, is up to us. Use your time today wisely to honor God and to serve his church.
