I don’t believe it is necessary to offer specifics. Just to seriously contemplate the question is enough to fill the mind with wonder.
If you have a fair knowledge of Jesus, you begin to see some answers.
But how did he do it?
How did he hang in shame and unbearable pain while listening to the hatred spew from the mouths of those around him? How did he do all of that without calling down those thousands of angels? How did he go through all of that and still pray, “Father, forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.”
How did he do that?
A love beyond our ability to comprehend.
A mind and heart totally devoted to giving himself in absolute service to God so that he could honor God in every aspect of his life, even his death.
Knowing this world with its pain, suffering, hatred and evil is only a temporary place soon to come to an end. Like a mother giving birth to a child, the pain and discomfort are soon set aside for the joy of having the child.
Paul says the pain of living faithful to God in this life is nothing to compare to the joy which is coming. Jesus knew that completely.
