What is life’s most important thing? Now, there is a question for all of us to consider.
Think about what God says.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6 ESV)
It’s not a long list of things. Just one thing. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Faith comes from listening to God. Faith is believing God, trusting him and demonstrating that trust in obeying and submitting to him.
We have a savior who desires to give us eternal life. He requires that we trust him.
We have an adversary who desires to destroy us. Anything he can do to move us away from faith and trust in God is his aim. He gives us hardship, pain and suffering to get us to doubt and distrust God. He gives us the pleasure we desire to move us away from devotion to God.
The battle for our souls between the forces of evil and God is all about faith or trust.
Faith is the most important thing in life. Listen to God and makes yours strong. Help others to strengthen theirs.
