Micah 6:8 “He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? “(NASB)
In my formative years, my sister was my Bible class teacher and made us memorize this verse. We didn’t have coloring pages back then. We also didn’t have much in our Bible classroom. We met under a tin roof with no walls, but I remember repeating this verse after her – “Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God”.
God is clear in his message. There is not much that needs interpretation to understand and obey this command. There is no argument as to who said it and why he said it. Micah makes it very clear to the very religious people of Judah. They were observing the rituals of worship and religion. God speaks specifically to each individual, no matter the age, gender or circumstances. Everyone is required to practice these things. “Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God.” Let’s do that this week!
