8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;
This is the reason Paul felt the necessity to preach to the Gentiles. This is the reason why Paul felt the urgency to proclaim to the Gentiles, although he converted a few Jews as well. He felt that he didn’t deserve the grace that God gave him. I believe that we are appreciative of the things we have that we don’t deserve. We all have something in our household that we cannot put a price tag on. Some things has a sentimental meaning due to who gave them to us. My dad gave me a ring. My mom gave me a bracelet. They both mean a lot so I take care of them. That sentiment I need to transfer when I think of the Gospel. I was given something of so much value that I need to make sure I take care of it.
Paul had a purpose on doing this. He not only preached the Gospel, but he preached and lived in order for people to see what God has for his creation. We can have fellowship with God, and he is looking forward to blessing us. This Gospel was entrusted to us as well. So that we, the least of all the saints could preach it!
