Prejudice: an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics; preconceived judgment or opinion.
Racism: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. All quotes by Merriam-Webster
To be honest, I had no idea what all these words meant. I had an idea of what I thought they meant, but I had to look in the dictionary to make sure. Looking back during my time here in the United States, I have been the recipient of these actions, and I would be lying if I said that I have never done the same to other individuals. Being a Christian makes us look at our mistakes and errors and change our ways. We must let the word of God mold our thoughts and behaviors. We need to see people the way God sees them. He sent His son to die for ALL the world, and if He died for all, should I not preach His Gospel to all?
