24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Ps. 31:24 NIVO)
I just had the honor of speaking to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Homewood High School. I walked into their meeting room at 7:20 a.m. and found a packed room full of high school athletes eager to discuss what it means to represent Christ.
How is your light shining?
Who are you reflecting?
Are you a different person at school, home, and/or work than at church?
As you begin your week, Be Brave. Be strong and take heart. Why? Because you have hope living, breathing, moving inside of you. We all know the sting that comes from the negativity around us that attempts to silence our hope, question our source of strength, and cause us to doubt the impact we can have wherever we go and whomever we meet.
Be Brave.
Be Strong.
Take Heart.
Hope in the Lord.
We are a part of something so much bigger than ourselves, so be the best version of you. Please, let’s not settle for mediocrity nor blending in. God has been known to do extraordinary things through ordinary people. Shine and Step Up.
Represent HIM well this week.
